Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Forky Fork (ranked 4930 p4p, 253 weight class) and Bartlomiej Jan (ranked 2191 p4p, 131 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bartlomiej Jan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Forky Fork! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Bartlomiej Jan! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jan wants to clinch. It looked like Fork wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Fork takes a kick to the side of the head. Jan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fork swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jan lets loose with a powerful body kick. Fork will feel that in the morning. Jan scores with a head kick. Fork tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Jan shoots in but no luck this time. Jan wants to clinch. Fork is looking to counter punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fork sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jan somewhat. Jan doesn't manage to clinch there - Fork circles away.
Fork throws a big counter combination but Jan scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Jan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fork, pushing him back against the cage. Fork is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jan pulls him back up using the underhooks. Fork manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Fork misses with a punch on the inside.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jan fails to pull guard.
Forky Fork has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bartlomiej Jan. Fork stalling against the cage.
Jan wants to stall.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Fork takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Jan is defending well against a takedown attempt. Jan is trying to pull guard but Fork turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Fork wants a takedown.
A frustrated look appears on Fork's face as he tries to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jan jumps guard and drags Fork to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Jan is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Fork frees his head nicely. Oh but Jan has switched to an armbar! Fork is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
