Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tatsuya Kimura (ranked 5337 p4p, 460 weight class) and Alexander Stroganov (ranked 5553 p4p, 469 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Stroganov.

Stroganov throws a nice looking combination but Kimura bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

It looks like Tatsuya Kimura has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kimura has his foot on Stroganov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stroganov works his way back into a safe position though.
Oh Kimura is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Kimura drops back looking for a leg! Stroganov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stroganov manages to kick Kimura off! Kimura jumps back into Stroganov's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stroganov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Stroganov has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Kimura off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Stroganov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kimura tries to avoid it but Stroganov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kimura to the ground. Kimura escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
