Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akira Harada (ranked 793 p4p, 100 weight class) and Devon Malcolm (ranked 2030 p4p, 241 weight class). Akira Harada is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Akira Harada! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Devon Malcolm! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malcolm looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Harada is fending him off so far but Malcolm persists. Nope, Harada circles away and we're back to standing. Harada misses with a looping left. Harada clinches up with Malcolm and pushes him back against the cage. Harada looking to slow down the pace here. Malcolm wants a takedown but no success here.
Harada lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Malcolm backwards. A left hand lands to the body for Malcolm.
Malcolm turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Harada struggling a bit here. Malcolm working the head with strikes. Malcolm tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Harada managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Malcolm.
Harada is looking to reverse the position. Malcolm has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Malcolm throwing shots but missing, from side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Malcolm tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harada defending against the ground and pound. Malcolm creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Harada sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Malcolm working away. Harada takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Harada wants to control but Malcolm postures up. Malcolm is trying to get an arm triangle but Harada is defending well. Malcolm landing a few strikes. Sloppy strikes there by Malcolm. Harada throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
That's two minutes gone in the round. An elbow from Malcolm crashes against the mat.
Malcolm connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Harada some visible discomfort.
Malcolm wants to control but Harada is keeping him busy. Malcolm working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Malcolm throws an elbow but Harada slips to the side and avoids it well. Harada wants to control but Malcolm postures up. Malcolm in side control lands a decent elbow. Malcolm sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Harada is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Malcolm is looking to take a break and control but Harada is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Harada taking punishment in the form of punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harada wants to control but Malcolm postures up. Malcolm creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Harada sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Harada defending against the ground and pound. Malcolm trying to control the position but Harada is working away. Sloppy strikes there by Malcolm. Malcolm landing strikes. Malcolm wants to control but Harada is keeping him busy. Malcolm misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sloppy strikes there by Malcolm. Harada tries to bench press Malcolm off him but Malcolm keeps the position. Malcolm lands a decent elbow from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harada avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Malcolm. Malcolm is looking to take a break and control but Harada is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Malcolm landing a few strikes. Malcolm trying to control the position but Harada is working away. Sloppy strikes there by Malcolm. Malcolm is working Harada over with some ground and pound from side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Malcolm working the ground and pound but Harada is defending the strikes. Malcolm working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Malcolm grinds an elbow into Harada's temple. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Devon Malcolm dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Harada misses with a looping left. Harada connects with a good right hand that stumbles Malcolm. Malcolm circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Harada throws a right hand that Malcolm ducks under and follows up with a left that Malcolm also avoids with ease. A little jabbing left from Malcolm on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Malcolm swats away the attempt to clinch by Harada. Malcolm looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Harada fails in his attempt to clinch. Malcolm swings for the body but Harada moves out of range.
Akira Harada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Harada loads up on a big right hand but Malcolm slips the punch. Malcolm lands an overhand right. Malcolm tries to move into range but Harada moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Harada rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Malcolm scores with a counter punch that sends Harada to the canvas! Malcolm smells blood - he's punishing Harada with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Harada has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Devon Malcolm! Devon Malcolm decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
