Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ricardo Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuck Poulin!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poulin pushes Gracie up against the cage in a clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Gracie.
Gracie keeps control of Poulin as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Gracie manages to pull guard.
Poulin wants to stand and escape but instead Gracie has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Gracie stands and throws Poulin's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Gracie is working to tighten his grip on Poulin's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Poulin has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Gracie is really squeezing tight and eventually Poulin passes out! Gracie breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Ricardo Gracie!
