Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dirk Armstrong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Filippo Del Moro!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Armstrong dives in for a single leg takedown but Del Moro sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Del Moro closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Armstrong trying his best to control but Del Moro has mounted him.
Armstrong tries to reverse the position but Del Moro maintains control.
Armstrong tries to lock up and control but Del Moro gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Armstrong is desperately trying to improve his position but Del Moro has a good base and remains in mount.

Armstrong wants to hold on but Del Moro pushes him away.
Armstrong sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Armstrong is looking for a sweep. Del Moro is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Armstrong flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Armstrong moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Armstrong is trying to keep Del Moro in close.

Armstrong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Armstrong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Armstrong is looking to sweep but instead, Del Moro has passed into half guard.
Armstrong has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Del Moro wants to stand up but Armstrong is controlling the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
No luck for Armstrong with that takedown attempt.
Armstrong is breathing heavily.
Del Moro looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Del Moro is thwarting Armstrong's attempts to control the position.
Del Moro tries to stand but can't do so whilst Armstrong controls his leg.
Del Moro decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Del Moro connects with a high kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Armstrong gets caught flat footed, as Del Moro shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Armstrong pulls Del Moro in close to prevent any damage.
Armstrong will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Armstrong shoots in for a double leg but Del Moro sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Armstrong goes for a double leg but Del Moro avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Del Moro continues to drive forward.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Armstrong gets caught napping as Del Moro dives in and scores a takedown. Armstrong manages to retain guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Armstrong tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Del Moro gets to his feet. Armstrong looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Dirk Armstrong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Armstrong doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Del Moro counters with a series of strikes. Armstrong will be more careful next time no doubt.
Armstrong is rocked!
Del Moro throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Armstrong crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
