Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Black!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Diaz sprawls well. Diaz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Black gets slowly back to his feet.
Black takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Diaz clinches with his opponent.
Black has a couple of punches blocked by Diaz.
Black gets control of Diaz's arms and successfully pulls guard. Black will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Diaz decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Black, up you get!
Diaz misses with a jab, cross combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diaz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Black eats them both and turns towards Diaz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Black is rocked!
It looks like Joe Black has been cut.
Diaz lands with a big right hook that stumbles Black - he's out on his feet here! Diaz follows up with another monster hook that separates Black from consciousness! Black falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Diaz stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mario Diaz!
After winning the bout, Mario Diaz thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
