Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Logan Nail (ranked 5035 p4p, 460 weight class) and Dan Grenier (ranked 6720 p4p, 530 weight class). Grenier is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ransom. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grenier throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Grenier misses with an uppercut.
Grenier shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nail pinned against the cage. Nail gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Grenier should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Grenier throws a wild body kick that Nail sees coming a mile off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Grenier instigates a clinch.
Grenier is trying to push Nail away but Nail has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Nail is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Grenier has eaten all the pies!

Nail is trying to maintain a safe position but Grenier gets an underhook and turns Nail into the cage.

Nail seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Grenier is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.
Grenier is trying to pull guard but Nail turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Nail crunches a lovely knee into Grenier's ribcage.
