Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Red Fox (ranked 2982 p4p, 264 weight class) and Lemony Snicket (ranked 6708 p4p, 405 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Red Fox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lemony Snicket!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fox fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Snicket manages to avoid it.
Snicket wants to counter the offense by Fox and move into the clinch position.
Fox rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Snicket counters with a series of strikes. Fox will be more careful next time no doubt.
Fox throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Snicket to counter with a crisp jab.
Snicket takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Fox misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Fox.
Snicket felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fox lands a few punches from side control.
Fox throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Snicket is trying to get back to his feet.
Fox laying and praying for a moment but Snicket takes advantage and regains half guard.
Fox is stalling here. Snicket is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Fox seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Snicket has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Snicket tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Snicket has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Snicket gets to mount! Fox was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Snicket is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Fox can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Snicket throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Fox because Snicket loaded up on that one.

Snicket tries to control but Fox wriggling away.
Snicket unloads with some shots from mount but Fox bucks and avoids them well.
Snicket won't let Fox get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Snicket is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Fox has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Fox defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Snicket.
Fox on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fox tries to get out of the position.
Snicket wants to control the pace but Fox is squirming around nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fox is trying to reverse the position but instead Snicket has taken his back - oops!

Snicket is looking to control Fox but Fox is wriggling around and keeping busy.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Fox throws an off balance right hand
and Snicket counters with a one-two to the body.
Fox closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fox lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fox postures up.
Fox stands up over Snicket, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Fox throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Fox has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Fox is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Snicket escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fox gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Snicket tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Snicket is looking to stand up but Fox isn't so interested in that idea.

Snicket pulls Fox in close to his closed guard and prevents Fox from doing any damage or advancing position.
Fox connects with a couple of short punches.

Fox trying to control the position from guard on top but Snicket is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Snicket controls Fox momentarily but Fox frees himself.
Snicket wants to stand but Fox is controlling the position.
Snicket manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fox manages to get himself to full guard.
Fox keeping moving, preventing Snicket from controlling successfully.
Lemony Snicket has got the better of the ground game so far.

Snicket stops Fox from standing up.
Snicket wants to control from the top but Fox keeps moving.
Fox is looking to stand up but Snicket isn't so interested in that idea.
Fox wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Snicket manages to pass to side control.

Fox is staying active underneath Snicket, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Fox is thowing punches from the bottom. Snicket grabs hold of a loose arm and pivots for an armbar! It's tight and Fox has to tap! Superb work there from Snicket!

A very excited looking Lemony Snicket made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Red Fox stepped up to the mic, saying 'I got robbed i want a rematch '.
