Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Farboleous Ricard (ranked 8 p4p, 1 weight class) and Enitan Arendse (ranked 12 p4p, 2 weight class). Ricard's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Vibe Killer. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Arendse fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Arendse motions for Ricard to come forward. Arendse throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Arendse, as that shot connected.
Ricard falls off balance throwing a combination
and Arendse counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Arendse's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ricard connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Arendse scrambles back to his feet.
Ricard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Arendse was well out of range. Poor timing from Ricard.
Arendse avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Arendse slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Arendse wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ricard manages to pass to side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - a gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

Ricard is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Arendse doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ricard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Ricard throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Arendse escapes and throws Ricard's legs to the side, diving into side control!
