Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shayne Corson (ranked 393 p4p, 54 weight class) and Ben Turner (ranked 611 p4p, 81 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
26 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Shayne Corson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
35 - 21 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ben Turner!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Turner.
Corson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Ben Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Corson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Corson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Corson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Ben Turner has been cut.
Turner connects with a body shot that sends Corson's belly button to the back.
Turner looks to land a body kick but Corson moved away.
A solid leg kick lands there for Turner.
The fighters circling - Turner throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A little feinted left hand from Corson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Turner fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Turner throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Corson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Turner's head backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Turner lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Corson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Corson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
It looked like Corson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Corson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Turner.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Turner connects with a good right hand that stumbles Corson. Corson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Turner throws a body punch but Corson moves out of range.
Turner scores with a nice right hand.
Turner ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A low kick from Turner misses
and Corson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Turner lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Corson at a distance.
Turner misses with a low kick.
A cross from Turner lands.
Corson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Turner sprawling to the canvas! Turner rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Corson finish him?!
Turner is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A shot to the body from Turner misses
and Corson rattles Turner with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Turner tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Corson dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Turner stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Shayne Corson!
