Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jorge Margy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Total Badass!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Margy pushes Badass up against the cage in a clinch.
Badass is looking to take this one to the mat.

Margy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Margy scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Margy wants to control but Badass is keeping him busy.
Badass is looking for a sweep.
Margy working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Badass regains half guard.
Margy passes the guard and advances to mount!
Badass is looking to improve his position but Margy isn't that keen on the idea.
Badass taking shots to the head.

Badass bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Badass trying to move into half guard but instead Margy has managed to sweep!

Badass is looking for a triangle here but Margy uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Badass is trying to improve his position.
Badass is trying to control Margy's posture but Margy avoids it.
Badass tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Margy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Margy in side control, throwing shots but Badass defends.

Badass manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Badass is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Badass stands up out of the half guard.
Badass has his takedown stuffed

and Margy moves into the clinch.
Margy avoiding damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Margy has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Badass clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Margy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Badass on the ground.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Margy controlling from the back.
Badass is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jorge Margy dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Badass moves out of range of the strikes.

Margy takes the fight into the clinch.

Margy gets control of Badass's arms and successfully pulls guard. Margy will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Badass stands and throws Margy's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Badass tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Badass has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Margy tries to improve position but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Badass swings around for an armbar but Margy sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Badass's guard.

Badass is looking for a triangle but Margy pushes his legs off easily.

Margy wants to stand but Badass has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Margy won't allow Badass to sweep him here.

Badass is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Margy has his hands clasped together but Badass extends and breaks Margy's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Badass.
