Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Huwan Bagwis!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vigo thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bagwis let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Bagwis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've been hearing reports that Vigo has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Don Vigo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bagwis bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Vigo's head backwards.
Bagwis thows a left - swing and a miss!
Vigo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bagwis manages to avoid it.
Vigo swings widly with a right hand
and Bagwis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bagwis moves out of range of the strikes.
Vigo loads up on a big right hand but Bagwis slips the punch.
Bagwis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vigo.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bagwis, right into the meat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vigo misses the jab.
Vigo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bagwis.
Vigo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Vigo fails to land with a series of punches.
Bagwis slips a jab from Vigo.
Bagwis only half commits to the counter leg kick.

Vigo goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A countering left hand to the body from Bagwis misses.
Vigo throws a jab when Bagwis was well out of range.
Vigo misses with a lunging right hand
and Bagwis counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Bagwis jabs Vigo to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Bagwis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vigo.
Don Vigo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bagwis fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Bagwis looks to land a right hand but Vigo moved out of range.
Vigo is looking to counter punch.
Bagwis uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vigo.
Bagwis takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Vigo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vigo. Bagwis does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bagwis throws a counter combo.
Vigo is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Bagwis's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Bagwis throws a hook to the side of Vigo's head but Vigo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bagwis connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Vigo momentarily.
Vigo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bagwis throws out a counter right but Vigo avoids it with no problem.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bagwis misses the shot to the body.
Vigo throws a body shot but no joy.
Vigo misses with a hook
and Bagwis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bagwis uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vigo.
Vigo throws a hook to the side of Bagwis's head but Bagwis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Vigo misses the jab.
Vigo misses with an uppercut
and Vigo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bagwis connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Vigo's hands.
Bagwis misses with a few strikes there.
Vigo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bagwis.
Bagwis throws a jab when Vigo was well out of range.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Bagwis. Vigo shrugs it off though.
Bagwis throws a body punch but Vigo moves out of range.
Bagwis keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Huwan Bagwis dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Vigo misses with a body shot.
Bagwis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Huwan Bagwis seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Bagwis ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Vigo misses with a body shot.
Bagwis throws a hook but Vigo avoids it easily.
Vigo is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Bagwis lands with a big left! Vigo is wobbled badly! Bagwis comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Vigo to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Huwan Bagwis!
