Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel O Reilly (ranked 6075 p4p, 515 weight class) and Jonny Sins (ranked 4799 p4p, 454 weight class). Daniel O Reilly had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel O Reilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jonny Sins!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Reilly stuns Sins with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sins moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Sins clinches.

Sins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sins fails to land with a series of punches.
Sins looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Nice body punch from O Reilly.

Sins throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. O Reilly tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sins is in O Reilly's guard.
O Reilly is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Sins dives into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.


Sins looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
O Reilly is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sins has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Sins controls the position.

Sins decides to stand back up.
O Reilly lands a really nice looking cross but Sins seems unphased.

Sins drives through and clinches with O Reilly against the cage.
Sins keeps the fight in the clinch, despite O Reilly's efforts to push away.

Sins escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
O Reilly looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
O Reilly looks to land a combination but Sins avoids it well.
Sins closes this distance looking for a takedown but O Reilly circles away.
O Reilly dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
O Reilly scores with a punch to the head.
Sins does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

O Reilly cracks Sins with an open hand slap.
Daniel O Reilly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

O Reilly keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Sins throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. O Reilly tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sins is in O Reilly's guard.

O Reilly throws a body punch but Sins moves out of range.
O Reilly digs a good hook to Sins's body.
O Reilly lands with a right hand.

and O Reilly counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
O Reilly will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Sins moves into the clinch.
Sins will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning O Reilly up against the cage.
O Reilly is trying to break free.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sins rushes O Reilly and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Sins keeps the fight in the clinch, despite O Reilly's efforts to push away.
O Reilly tries to break free but Sins pushes him back against the cage.
Sins tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. O Reilly just stands there and leans against the cage.
O Reilly can't break the clinch.
Sins changes levels and goes for a takedown here. O Reilly fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Daniel O Reilly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonny Sins.

Sins takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
O Reilly slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
O Reilly is looking to wear down Sins with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
O Reilly scores with a sloppy right hand. Sins should have avoided that one.
O Reilly cracks Sins with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
O Reilly lands a head shot.
Sins scores with a one two! O Reilly had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
O Reilly lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sins circles away quickly and effectively.
Sins fails in his attempt to clinch.

Sins manages to get an easy takedown there - catching O Reilly on his heels. He'll look to pass O Reilly's guard now, I'm sure.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Daniel O Reilly dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Sins will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
O Reilly bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sins's head backwards.

Sins postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for O Reilly to stand up.
O Reilly connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

O Reilly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sins was well out of range. Poor timing from O Reilly.
Sins follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
O Reilly looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Sins rushes O Reilly and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Sins doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Sins gets control of O Reilly's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sins will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We've been informed that Sins has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Sins has a closed guard, preventing O Reilly from standing up.
Sins bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in O Reilly's guard.

Sins controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

O Reilly is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

O Reilly has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Sins off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
O Reilly is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sins can do to turn this around?
O Reilly swings for the body but Sins moves out of range.

Sins has closed the distance and engaged O Reilly in a clinch.

Sins gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, O Reilly regains guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sins is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Sins is continuing to stall.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Jonny Sins.
I think O Reilly has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
