Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between JayJay Marvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marvin comes to the cage accompanied by "Your Not Alone" - Tinchy Stryder. JayJay Marvin has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, JayJay Marvin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Turner!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turner moves into the clinch.
Marvin looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Turner drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Marvin gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Marvin is looking to break free of the clinch but Turner has double underhooks.

Turner ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Turner no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Turner throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Marvin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Turner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Marvin looks for a takedown but Turner sprawls well.
Turner moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Turner cracks Marvin with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Turner fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Turner fails in his attempt to clinch.

Marvin gets caught flat footed, as Turner shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Marvin is looking to stand up but Turner isn't so interested in that idea.

Turner gets to his feet - Marvin follows without any prompting.
Turner shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Marvin as he jumps to the side.
JayJay Marvin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Turner.
Turner looks for a takedown but Marvin sprawls well.
Turner shoots for a double leg takedown but Marvin sprawls well. He's pushed Turner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Marvin throws a series of punches but Turner avoids them all with ease.
Marvin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Marvin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Turner stands and steps away. Marvin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Turner is looking to clinch but Marvin is avoiding it.
JayJay Marvin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marvin stuffs the takedown.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Turner.
Turner shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Marvin pinned against the cage. Marvin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Turner lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Turner.
Turner tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Marvin swivels and escapes.

and Turner counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Marvin's guard now.
Marvin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Turner stands up and waves to Marvin to follow him.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Marvin circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Turner counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Turner.
Marvin wants to sweep here but Turner controlling him for the moment.
Turner slips nicely into half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Marvin kicks off Turner and gets to his feet.
Turner throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Marvin sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Turner should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Marvin wants to hold on but Turner pushes him away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Turner jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Marvin manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Turner decides to stand up, so the ref orders Marvin to his feet.

Turner feints and as Marvin raises his hands in defense, Turner changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Marvin thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Turner has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Marvin avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Andrew Turner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Turner is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Marvin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Turner is keen to just control but Marvin is a slippery customer.
Marvin wants to get back to full guard.

Turner is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Marvin defends it well.
Turner is stalling here. Marvin is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Turner seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Marvin has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Marvin has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Turner shoots in and drives through. Marvin sprawls well.

Turner takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Marvin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Turner as he avoids it easily.

Turner is trying to drag Marvin to the mat but Marvin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Andrew Turner is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Turner is looking to take a break and control but Marvin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Marvin pushes Turner away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Turner gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Turner gets a clinch.

Turner gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Marvin regains guard.
Marvin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Turner controls the pace.

JayJay Marvin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Marvin is staying active underneath Turner, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Andrew Turner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Turner has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
