Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Matvey Pavlov (ranked 1185 p4p, 76 weight class) and Takeya Aoki (ranked 2967 p4p, 172 weight class). Pavlov comes into the arena with Prokofiev - Dance of the Knights blaring out of the sound system. Aoki has chosen Baka Survivor as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Matvey Pavlov has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. Aoki is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Pavlov is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Aoki has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Pavlov is looking to defend but Aoki has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Pavlov! Aoki pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Pavlov taps out and this one is all over!
