PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Josh Morgan (ranked 1246 p4p, 134 weight class) and French Fried (ranked 2000 p4p, 191 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that French Fried was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan throws a lazy right hand but Fried sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Morgan lands a body shot.
A swing and a miss from Fried.
Morgan with a jab.
Morgan lands an overhand right.
Morgan scores with a spinning back kick!
Fried uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Morgan.
Morgan tests Fried's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Morgan connects with an inside leg kick.
Morgan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fried shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Morgan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fried.
Fried lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Morgan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fried manages to avoid it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Morgan throws out a powerful jab.
Fried is still on wobbly legs! Can Morgan finish him?
Morgan cracks Fried with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Fried tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Morgan pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Fried is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Josh Morgan!
