The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Timms.
Timms shoots in but Mike avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Timms shoots in looking for a takedown. Mike tries to sprawl out of it but Timms keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mike manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gerald Timms. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck for Timms with that takedown attempt.
Mike cracks a nice hook into Timms's ribs.
Mike closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Timms out cold! Timms corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
