Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James McGuire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nuke Laloosh!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
McGuire misses with a straight left.
McGuire tries to clinch there but Laloosh circles away.

McGuire moves into the clinch.

McGuire breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McGuire scores with a jab to the body.
McGuire fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Laloosh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Laloosh avoids the body shot from McGuire.

McGuire instigates a clinch.
McGuire is defending well against a takedown attempt.

McGuire breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
McGuire pulls out of a head kick attempt.

McGuire has taken the fight to the clinch.
Laloosh prevents McGuire from breaking the clinch.

McGuire turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and McGuire manages to end up in side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Laloosh is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McGuire pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Laloosh tries to roll over but McGuire keeps him under control.
McGuire seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
McGuire looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

McGuire takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

McGuire cracks Laloosh with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. McGuire has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Laloosh to stand back up!

It looks like Nuke Laloosh has been cut.
Laloosh uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McGuire.
McGuire is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Laloosh can do to turn this around?
McGuire is looking to clinch but Laloosh is avoiding it.

McGuire darts in and clinches Laloosh up against the cage.
McGuire pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

McGuire got a little sloppy there for a moment and Laloosh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McGuire has managed to get both his arms back between Laloosh's legs - danger averted.

Laloosh has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McGuire can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
McGuire controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Laloosh looking to hit a scissor sweep but McGuire is one step ahead there.

McGuire would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Laloosh working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McGuire doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McGuire manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

James McGuire is winning the standup battle so far.
McGuire looks to land a right hand but Laloosh moved out of range.
McGuire wants to clinch.
Laloosh feints the counter takedown.
Laloosh misses with a double jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGuire tries to close the distance and clinch up but Laloosh swats him away and circles back towards the center.

McGuire drops Laloosh with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Laloosh looks back up at him and smiles so McGuire waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

McGuire tries to close the distance and clinch but Laloosh swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

McGuire fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Laloosh out cold! Brutal finish!
