Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Blitz Ugen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helio Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machado has chosen Mindless Self Indulgence - Bitches as his entrance music. Helio Machado is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ugen's guard.

Machado has hold of Ugen's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ugen manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Machado throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ugen escapes and throws Machado's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Helio Machado showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Machado closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Ugen is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Machado lets go of the hold and Ugen can pop his arm back in it's socket.
