Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johannes Boe (ranked 2213 p4p, 246 weight class) and Cedric Simard (ranked 1679 p4p, 202 weight class). Boe comes to the cage accompanied by Agnes - Release Me. The key to victory for Johannes Boe has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simard tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boe paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Boe listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Boe cracks Simard with a good jab.
Boe is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Simard.
Boe bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Simard's head.

Simard takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Boe bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Simard's head backwards.

Simard lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

A little jabbing left from Simard on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Boe misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Simard keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Boe throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Boe takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The crowd cheers as Boe lands an impressive looking overhand right. Simard doesn't seem phased though.

Boe takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A little feinted left hand from Boe on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Boe throws a right hand that Simard ducks under and follows up with a left that Simard also avoids with ease.
Simard lands a big right hand that sends Boe crashing to the mat! Simard stays standing though and waves Boe back to his feet!

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Simard. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Simard is looking to cinch up a triangle. Boe throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Simard's body to avoid the submission. Simard has instead reached around Boe's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Simard arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
