Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Remy Valentine (ranked 326 p4p, 15 weight class) and Mark Kerr (ranked 346 p4p, 19 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Valentine might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Man with the Harmonica by Ennio Morricone. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Remy Valentine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Kerr! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. A head kick by Valentine misses and Kerr decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Valentine's guard. Kerr wants to pass the guard but Valentine is keeping the position. Kerr prevents Valentine from getting back to his feet. Kerr working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Kerr has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kerr stops Valentine from standing up. Kerr looking to pass the guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kerr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kerr engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Valentine working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kerr. Kerr trying to control the position from guard on top but Valentine is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kerr chips away with some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerr trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kerr wants to control from the top but Valentine keeps moving. Kerr works a leg free and moves into half guard. Valentine makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Valentine has been working on his boxing with his coaches at ~T~ Troid - Gym in the buildup to the fight. Valentine fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kerr manages to avoid it. It seemed like Kerr was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. A low kick from Valentine is predictable there and Valentine is countered with a crisp right hand from Kerr that sends him to the canvas! Kerr follows him to the mat into side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kerr throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Kerr is putting a hurting on Valentine here, landing some big shots from side control.
Valentine is rocked! Valentine is not content to let Kerr control the position. Oh Valentine is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Kerr cracks Valentine with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Kerr immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Valentine is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Kerr!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Kerr! Mark Kerr tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool. Remy Valentine spoke after the fight, saying 'I am going to get with my team and rethink a few thinks.'.
