The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cannon looking to score a takedown here. Blaze is defending well but Cannon drives through and ends up in Blaze's guard.
Cannon wants to pass the guard but Blaze is keeping the position.
Cannon passes Blaze's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Cannon wants to work for an arm triangle but Blaze is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Cannon is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Blaze defends it well.
