Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Hickson (ranked 3269 p4p, 319 weight class) and Drake Tatum (ranked 5347 p4p, 411 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Drake Tatum!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatum changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hickson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hickson is not content to let Tatum control the position.
Tatum in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Tatum trying to control the action but Hickson is working from the bottom.
Hickson is looking to regain half guard here but Tatum keeps moving and retains side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hickson prevents Tatum from improving position.
Tatum is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hickson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Tatum tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Hickson manages to work his way to half guard, despite Tatum's best efforts.
Hickson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tatum is working away from the top position though.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Hickson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tatum as he avoids it easily.
Tatum drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Tatum looking to sit in guard and control but Hickson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Tatum pulls Hickson in to control the position.
Hickson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Tatum has momentary wrist control but Hickson slips an elbow through the middle.
Tatum working for a triangle but Hickson defends it easily.

Hickson distracts Tatum with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Tatum is adopting a defensive guard.

A close round but Drake Tatum will probably get the nod.

Hickson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tatum with the counter takedown but Hickson avoids it easily.

Tatum is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tatum wants to control but Hickson is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Tatum tries to roll over but Hickson keeps him under control.
Hickson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Tatum is rocked!
Hickson scores with a big shot! Tatum's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Tatum! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
