Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lee Roy (ranked 688 p4p, 114 weight class) and Tyron Woody (ranked 687 p4p, 113 weight class). Roy comes to the cage accompanied by Cry, Cry, Cry. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lee Roy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyron Woody! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Woody moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Woody swings for the body but Roy moves out of range.
Woody ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Roy scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Roy takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Woody avoids a punch combination nicely.
Roy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Woody gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Roy. Roy keeps the fight on the outside. Woody works Roy's body with a nice hook. Woody lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
It looks like Lee Roy has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Woody slips under a jab. Woody fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Woody throws a right hand that Roy ducks under and follows up with a left that Roy also avoids with ease. Woody ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Roy moves away. Roy connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Woody's hands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roy looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Woody loads up on a big right hand but Roy slips the punch. Woody throws a body shot but no joy. Roy walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Roy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Roy throws a wild body kick that Woody sees coming a mile off. Good leg kick by Roy there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Roy slips a jab from Woody. Woody is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Roy rather than just go for the knockout. Roy tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Woody blocks the body kick.
Woody moves into the clinch successfully.
A nice right hand lands inside from Woody. Woody works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
A head punch on the inside from Woody fails to land. Woody can't find room to land a body shot as Roy controls the action.
Woody tries to throw a body punch but Roy avoids it by throwing Woody back against the cage. Woody digs a right hand underneath Roy's ribcage. Roy let out a lung full of air as it connected.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A head punch blocked on the inside by Roy. Roy blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Woody has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Roy regains guard immediately. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Woody stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roy swivels though and keeps the full guard. Woody drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Woody jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Woody wants to pass the guard but Roy is keeping the position. Woody is still trying to improve position. Roy wants to control the position but Woody says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Woody is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Roy is just riding it out for now. Woody eventually gives up the hold. Woody is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Roy defends it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Woody pulls his head out easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Woody has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Woody working for a guillotine from mount but Roy is in no mood to give up. Roy wants to control but Woody is having none of it. Woody has control of Roy's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Roy regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Woody takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Woody is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Roy is defending well though. Woody let's go of the attempt for now. Woody looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Roy taps!
