Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joonas Olli (ranked 4237 p4p, 320 weight class) and Winston Cooper (ranked 1847 p4p, 177 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Joonas Olli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Winston Cooper!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper closes the distance and clinches.
Olli is trying to maintain a safe position but Cooper gets an underhook and turns Olli into the cage.
Olli working hard to break the clinch.
Cooper gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Olli tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Cooper smiles and moves away.
Cooper pushes Olli up against the cage in a clinch.
Cooper looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Cooper gets through Olli's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Olli avoids a wild elbow strike from Cooper.
Olli wants to get back to striking at distance but Cooper won't allow it.
Cooper tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Cooper misses with a short punch on the inside.
Cooper avoiding damage as Olli throws knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Olli tries to pull guard but Cooper holds him up against the cage and eventually Olli drops back down to his feet.
Cooper misses with a body punch.
Cooper goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Olli prevents a body shot from Cooper.
Cooper blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Olli breaks from the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Olli tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Olli escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Olli tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cooper defends well and Olli ends up having to push Cooper into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joonas Olli. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cooper rushes Olli and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Olli blocks an uppercut.
A head punch on the inside from Cooper fails to land.
Olli tries a body shot but Cooper blocks it.
Olli wants to get back to striking at distance but Cooper won't allow it.
Olli turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Olli manages to end up in side control.
Cooper takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Cooper is trying to work for a sweep but Olli has mounted him!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cooper wants to hold on but Olli pushes him away.
Cooper slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Cooper is looking to improve his position.
Cooper blocking the ground and pound attempt from Olli.
Olli sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Cooper defending well though.

Cooper wants to control but Olli is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Olli thows a huge punch but Cooper dodges it nicely.
Cooper has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Olli is working away from the top position though.
Cooper trying to get back to full guard but Olli takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Olli pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Cooper tries to reverse the position but Olli maintains control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cooper keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Olli raining down hammerfists from mount.
Olli has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Cooper is trying desperately to improve position.
Olli working for a guillotine from mount but Cooper is in no mood to give up.

Cooper tries to hold on but Olli pushes him away.
Cooper keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Olli throws some wild stikes that Cooper manages to avoid easily.
Olli thowing shots but they're missing.
Cooper tries to lock up and control but Olli gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Olli unloads with some shots from mount but Cooper bucks and avoids them well.
Olli looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Cooper covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

After winning the bout, Joonas Olli thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
