The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele takes a body punch but keeps moving.
James Jr throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Steele counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
James Jr is trying to control but can't.
James Jr is looking for a sweep. Steele is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Steele escapes and gets back to his feet.

Steele rushes James Jr and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
James Jr wants to break the clinch but can't.
Steele throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but James Jr blocks it with crossed arms.
Steele lands an elbow just above James Jr 's eye.


It looks like Bubba James Jr has been cut.

James Jr is trying to drag Steele to the mat but Steele just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
