Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Edward Conan (ranked 6439 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Steve Jr (ranked 986 p4p, 112 weight class). George Steve Jr acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; George Steve Jr!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Steve Jr closes the distance and clinches.
Steve Jr tries for a takedown but Conan manages to get underhooks.

Conan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Conan manages to end up in side control.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Conan tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Conan looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Conan is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Steve Jr to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Steve Jr shrugs it off.
