Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Lokee Hyde (ranked 5644 p4p, 482 weight class) and Vinny Doom (ranked 4863 p4p, 0 weight class). Vinny Doom told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Hyde moves into range and clinches up with Doom.
Hyde gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Doom regains guard.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hyde drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hyde jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hyde not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Hyde has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Hyde has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Doom is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hyde yanks on the arm and Doom is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hyde.
