Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Prana Halo (ranked 3787 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michel Colucci (ranked 2526 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Colucci's choice of entrance music: Le temps des cerises. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Michel Colucci was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 9 losses; Prana Halo! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 16 wins and 4 losses; Michel Colucci!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Halo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Colucci looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Colucci felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Halo looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Colucci is defending well. Halo quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Colucci has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Halo celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Prana Halo!
Prana Halo spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
