Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Drex Lanier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Natsu Dragneel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Drex Lanier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Natsu Dragneel! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dragneel connects with a crisp jab. Dragneel throws a head kick that misses. Dragneel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lanier sees it coming and avoids it easily. Dragneel misses with a straight left. Lanier darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Lanier trying to control the action but Dragneel is working from the bottom. Lanier is looking to advance position but Dragneel won't allow it. Lanier trying to control the action but Dragneel is working from the bottom. Lanier sitting and controlling from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lanier wants to free his trapped foot but Dragneel is holding on for dear life with his legs. Lanier prevents Dragneel from standing back up.
Dragneel is not content to let Lanier control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Lanier moves away from the strike by Dragneel. Dragneel throws the left hand but Lanier avoids the punch easily. Dragneel connects with a nice looking jab.
Natsu Dragneel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lanier misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lanier keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dragneel. Lanier slips a jab from Dragneel. Lanier displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Dragneel paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Dragneel throws a combination that misses and Lanier counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lanier. Lanier gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dragneel is staying active underneath Lanier, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Lanier stops Dragneel from getting back to his feet.
Lanier slips a nice elbow through Dragneel's hands, connecting with Dragneel's forehead. Lanier wants to take a breather but Dragneel is having none of it. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lanier passes to side control. Dragneel gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Dragneel trying desperately to get to his feet.
Dragneel looks gassed! A nice elbow there by Lanier. Lanier has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lanier with the ground and pound from mount. Lanier trying to control but he's not successful this time. Dragneel trying desperately to get to his feet.
Lanier lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Dragneel hang on? The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lanier cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
A nice elbow there by Lanier. Dragneel's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Lanier has hold of Dragneel's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dragneel manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lanier wants to finish this one by submission but Dragneel is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lanier.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lanier is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Dragneel has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Dragneel is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Dragneel is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Lanier locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Dragneel is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Drex Lanier!
