The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams stalks Smith and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Smith's face. Smith staggers backwards, shaken.
Adams fails in his attempt to clinch.
Adams throws a right and a left that Smith avoids nicely.
Smith tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Adams defends well and Smith ends up having to push Adams into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Smith changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Smith drives through with a takedown into Adams's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Adams has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Smith has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Adams manages to break the clinch.
