Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Cassel (ranked 5615 p4p, 445 weight class) and Henry Armstrong (ranked 4213 p4p, 392 weight class). 7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Armstrong! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Armstrong clinches with his opponent.

A short right from Armstrong. Armstrong lands with a light punch inside. Armstrong scores with a shot to the side of Cassel's head. Armstrong crunches a lovely knee into Cassel's ribcage. A body shot lands from Armstrong.

Cassel is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Armstrong lands a hook that snaps the head of Cassel backwards. Armstrong scores with a nice hook to the head. Armstrong throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Cassels head. A nice left hand lands by Armstrong.

Armstrong lands a body punch in the clinch. Cassel's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Oh Cassel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Armstrong works on Cassel's body with a couple of short punches. Cassel seems to have got his legs back now. Armstrong scores with an uppercut up the middle. Armstrong lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Cassel. Cassel takes a knee to the side of the body. Nice body punch from Armstrong. Armstrong lands on the inside with an uppercut. A short body shot lands from Armstrong as the two fighters clinch.

Cassel wants to break the clinch but can't.

Armstrong makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Armstrong lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Cassel takes a shot to the head. A short right hand to the side of the head by Armstrong. Armstrong scores with a shoulder strike. Armstrong lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Armstrong gets through Cassel's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Armstrong drops Cassel onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Cassel is propped up by the ropes and works his way back to his feet! Armstrong creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Cassel's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Cassel drops to his knees and Armstrong pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Henry Armstrong! After the fight, Henry Armstrong was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
