Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Jordon (ranked 3013 p4p, 344 weight class) and Braulio Escobar (ranked 2834 p4p, 328 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jordon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sticky Icky. Braulio Escobar has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with James Jordon's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

17 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Braulio Escobar!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jordon looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Jordon looks for the body kick but Escobar saw that one coming.
Escobar throws out a counter right but Jordon avoids it with no problem.
Escobar lunges at Jordon with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jordon's hand.
Jordon gets a clinch.
We've been informed that Escobar has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Jordon lands a shoulder strike.
Jordon softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Jordon looking to throw knees to the head but Escobar is blocking nicely.
Escobar throws a head punch that misses.
Escobar wants to break the clinch but can't.
Jordon can't find room to land a body shot as Escobar controls the action.
Escobar tries to break free but Jordon pushes him back against the ropes.
Escobar prevents a body shot from Jordon.
Escobar breaks from the clinch.
Jordon tries to land a front kick but Escobar steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

and Jordon counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jordon scores with a crisp jab that stopped Escobar in his tracks.
It looks like Braulio Escobar has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Escobar's corner calls for a 1-2. Escobar obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Nice defenses there by Jordon.

Jordon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Escobar throws out the jab.
Escobar avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Jordon shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Escobar manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Jordon stops Escobar from standing up.
Jordon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Escobar swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jordon is looking to work some ground and pound but Escobar has wrist control.

Jordon wants to control from the top but Escobar keeps moving.
Jordon throws a big right hand that misses.

Jordon postures up in Escobar's guard and throws a big left but Escobar blocks it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jordon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Escobar wants to stand up but Jordon is controlling him.
Jordon throws a sloppy strike and Escobar has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Jordon is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Escobar!

A relieved looking Braulio Escobar thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
