Jab, jab by Cruz - just one landing.
Cruz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cruz just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromBurunduks.
Burunduks misses with a takedown attempt
and Cruz counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Burunduks is rocked!
Burunduks has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Burunduks trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Cruz lands a big shot to the head and Burunduks winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

After the fight, Michael Cruz was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
