The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lastairman closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hall did well to prevent Lastairman getting side control.

Hall manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Lastairman keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Hall breaks the clinch.

Lastairman fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hall to the ground. Lastairman is now in Hall's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hall lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Hall trying to control the position from guard on top but Lastairman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Lastairman is working an open guard so Hall takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Charlie Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hall pushes Lastairman up against the cage in a clinch.
Hall lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lastairman backwards.

Hall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hall tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lastairman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hall somewhat.
Hall connects with a body shot.
Hall has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Hall wants to land a leg kick but Lastairman is out of range.
Lastairman is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Hall with a body shot.
Hall scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hall fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lastairman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hall scores with a leg kick.
Hall lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hall!

It looks like Codename Lastairman has been cut.
Hall fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lastairman flicks out a counter leg kick but Hall steps away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hall lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A lazy left from Hall finds it's target.
Lastairman moves in looking to clinch but Hall pushes him off.

Hall shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lastairman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Hall working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Hall decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Hall connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lastairman. Lastairman circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Lastairman has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lastairman there as he acknowledges the shot.
Hall tries to work over Lastairman's front leg with a kick but Lastairman checks it.
Lastairman with the counter takedown but Hall avoids it easily.

Lastairman is rocked!
Hall throws an overhand right that has Lastairman reeling! Hall follows up with more punches and Lastairman is out cold! This one is all over!
