Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Haven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haven comes into the arena with ill Nino - Liar blaring out of the sound system. Williams has chosen Jedi Mind Tricks ft Gza - On The Eve Of War as his entrance music. Melvin Williams has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Will Haven's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haven moves in looking to clinch but Williams pushes him off. Williams shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Haven is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Williams scores with a couple of nice shots. Williams is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Haven is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Williams controlling the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams throwing shots but Haven is blocking nicely. Williams prevents Haven from standing back up.
Williams looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Williams throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Haven blocking the ground and pound attempt from Williams.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Williams working over Haven with some ground and pound. Haven looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Haven looks like he's trying to stand up.
Ground and pound from Williams. Williams looks gassed! Williams is nestled in close to Haven, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams uses his free foot to push down on Haven's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Haven. Williams pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Williams cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Williams is landing with some decent strikes but Haven is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Haven is trying to stand up. Williams looking to control and managing it successfully. Williams breaks from Haven's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Haven hang on? Williams postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Haven looks a forlorn figure.
Williams throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Haven is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Melvin Williams dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Haven lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. The fight stays on the outside here - Williams looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Will Haven is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Haven wants to clinch and Williams counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Williams. Williams wants to control from the top but Haven keeps moving. Williams keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Haven's head. Haven wants to stand and escape but Williams is having none of it. Williams looking to pass the guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haven wants to get back to his feet but Williams is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Williams throwing strikes but missing. Haven is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Williams is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Haven looks to clinch and Williams counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Haven misses with a short punch on the inside. Haven lands an elbow just above Williams 's eye. Haven wants to stall.

With the fighters up against the cage, Williams throws an elbow but misses. Nice elbow from Haven. Haven blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Haven. Haven misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Williams.
Haven lands a left hand that snaps the head of Williams backwards. Williams prevents Haven from breaking the clinch. Haven is trying to break free. Williams prevents Haven from breaking the clinch.

Haven is working Williams over against the cage. Williams tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Haven's elbow. Williams misses with a punch on the inside.

Haven throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Williamss head. Haven lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Williams. Haven landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Haven lands with a short head shot on the inside. A battle for position here, against the cage. Williams swings wildly with an uppercut but Haven uses good head movement to avoid it. Knees in the clinch landing for Williams.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Haven misses with a hook from the clinch. Haven is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Haven just misses with a elbow thrown towards Williams's brow. Williams lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Haven backwards. Haven pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Haven tries to clinch but Williams is having none of it. Haven wants to clinch up but Williams keeps it at a distance. Haven tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Williams counters with a lovely shot to the body. Haven misses with a looping left. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Haven closes the distance but Williams moves to the side and Williams counters with a shoot takedown. Haven fights it but they end up in guard. Haven wants to stand and escape but Williams is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Melvin Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Williams looking to control but instead Haven has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Williams keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Haven lands a shoulder strike. Williams pushes Haven back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Haven lands a knee to the body.
Haven misses with an elbow over the top. Haven lands an elbow inside. Haven misses with a hook from the clinch. Haven trying to control the position but instead, Williams has worked for underhooks and has pushed Haven into the cage. Haven using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Williams has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Haven lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Haven managing to block the knees to the body from Williams.
A short right from Haven on the inside. Haven wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Williams scores with a hook to the body. Williams tightens his grip and picks Haven up, before dumping him to the ground. Haven manages to land in guard. Williams prevents Haven from getting back to his feet. Williams cracks Haven with a solid left hand. Williams advances to half guard. Haven is trying to stand back up but Williams is controlling him
