Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hotaru Doji (ranked 1880 p4p, 244 weight class) and Rohith Sharma (ranked 1093 p4p, 147 weight class). Doji's entrance music is Crane ft. Beauregard & The Down Right - Meet Me In The Garden. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Hotaru Doji!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rohith Sharma!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharma scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Doji fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sharma manages to avoid it.
Sharma unleashes a big counter combination but Doji bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Sharma throws a shot from downtown. Doji moves away and avoids it.
Rohith Sharma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Doji throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sharma on the side of the head.
Sharma tries to clinch up.
Doji with a nice cross.
Doji swats away the attempt to clinch by Sharma.
Sharma walks into a stiff left hand from Doji.
Sharma tries to close the distance and clinch up but Doji swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Doji takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Hotaru Doji has been cut.
Sharma tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Doji counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Sharma avoids the body shot from Doji.
Sharma tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Doji manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Doji dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Doji swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sharma! But no joy.
Doji just misses with a punch to the body.

A little feinted left hand from Doji on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Doji takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Sharma slips under a jab from Doji.
Doji pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Sharma takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sharma rushes Doji and presses him up against the cage.
Sharma throws a head punch that misses.
Doji pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Doji scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sharma in his tracks.
Sharma lands with a good body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nice shot lands for Doji.
Doji digs a good hook to Sharma's body.
Sharma tries to clinch there but Doji circles away.
Doji misses with a straight right.
Doji is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sharma.
Sharma tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Doji manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sharma scores with a nice strike.
Doji tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sharma was well out of range. Poor timing from Doji.
Sharma avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sharma tries to close the distance and clinch up but Doji swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Doji loads up on a big right hand but Sharma slips the punch.
Sharma dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sharma closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Doji tries to circle away but Sharma has him pinned against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Sharma.

Sharma prevents Doji from breaking the clinch.
Doji tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Sharma has Doji pressed against the cage, preventing Doji from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Doji breaks from the clinch.
Doji misses with a right hand
and Sharma counters with a crisp right that sends Doji to the canvas! Sharma follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
