Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nyrkki Hynynen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guy LeDouche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nyrkki Hynynen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Guy LeDouche! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hynynen tries to clinch up. LeDouche circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hynynen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hynynen darts in and clinches LeDouche up against the cage. A nice glancing elbow lands by Hynynen. LeDouche is working for takedown but Hynynen is calmly controlling the position for now. A right hand to the body from Hynynen.
LeDouche breaks from the clinch.
Hynynen tries a head kick but it misses.
Hynynen clinches with his opponent.

Hynynen's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. LeDouche goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hynynen prevents it.
LeDouche looks gassed! Hynynen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nyrkki Hynynen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hynynen closes the distance and clinches. Hynynen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hynynen throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hynynen closes this distance looking for a takedown but LeDouche circles away. Hynynen doesn't manage to clinch there - LeDouche circles away.
LeDouche walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Hynynen moves in looking to clinch but LeDouche pushes him off. Hynynen scores with a takedown into LeDouche's guard. LeDouche has a closed guard, preventing Hynynen from standing up. LeDouche looking for a guillotine here but Hynynen defends easily.
Hynynen wants to stand but LeDouche is controlling his posture from full guard. LeDouche looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Hynynen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hynynen wanted to stand there but LeDouche had control of the position. LeDouche manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hynynen manages to get himself to full guard.
LeDouche stands and throws Hynynen's legs to the side, diving into side control. Hynynen could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hynynen tries to buck LeDouche off but LeDouche is having none of it. LeDouche wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hynynen, who protects the arm well. LeDouche tries to score with some ground and pound. Hynynen controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. LeDouche looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Hynynen prevents LeDouche from moving into mount. LeDouche is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hynynen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. LeDouche has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hynynen takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
LeDouche shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Nyrkki Hynynen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guy LeDouche. LeDouche shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hynynen counters with an inside leg kick. LeDouche swats away the attempt to clinch by Hynynen. Nice takedown defense from Hynynen. No joy for LeDouche on that attempt. Hynynen fails in his attempt to clinch. LeDouche shoots in and bounces Hynynen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. LeDouche is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. LeDouche passes into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nyrkki Hynynen will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
LeDouche swats away the attempt to clinch by Hynynen. Hynynen tries to clinch up but LeDouche circles away and keeps his distance. LeDouche tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Hynynen has LeDouche up against the cage in a clinch.
Hynynen using the Thai plumb to throw knees but LeDouche has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Hynynen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hynynen throws a series of punches but LeDouche moves out of range. Hynynen throws a leg kick but LeDouche sees it coming and moves out of range. LeDouche shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. LeDouche showed some decent athleticism there. LeDouche thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hynynen's head. LeDouche wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hynynen keeps working. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. LeDouche works his way into full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hynynen holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as LeDouche tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Hynynen regains half guard. LeDouche stalling. LeDouche is looking for a kimura here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. LeDouche is looking for a kimura here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. LeDouche postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hynynen is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of LeDouche, into his guard. LeDouche is trying to control the position but Hynynen postures up. Hynynen scoring with punches to the head and body. Hynynen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Hynynen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Hynynen decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on LeDouche, up you get! LeDouche ducks right into an uppercut from Hynynen. LeDouche has his takedown stuffed and Hynynen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Hynynen wants to control from the top but LeDouche keeps moving. A close second round but Guy LeDouche will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Hynynen is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. LeDouche controls Hynynen momentarily but Hynynen frees himself. Hynynen stands and throws LeDouche's legs to the side, diving into side control. LeDouche is trying to get back to half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hynynen trying to control the action but LeDouche is working from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. LeDouche is not content to let Hynynen control the position. LeDouche manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hynynen's best efforts. LeDouche makes his way to full guard. A much better position for LeDouche. LeDouche looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hynynen wants to control from the top but LeDouche keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. LeDouche looking for a sweep. Not yet LeDouche, not yet. LeDouche trying to control the position.

Hynynen pushes LeDouche against the cage but LeDouche circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. LeDouche shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hynynen as he avoids it easily. LeDouche shoots in for a takedown but Hynynen shows good takedown defense. Nyrkki Hynynen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guy LeDouche. Hynynen throws a head kick that LeDouche semi-blocks.
Hynynen tries to land a front kick but LeDouche steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. LeDouche shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hynynen pinned against the cage. Hynynen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hynynen tries to grapple but his opponent circles and LeDouche counters with a nice double leg into half guard. LeDouche tries to pass to full mount but Hynynen defends it. Guy LeDouche has got the better of the ground game so far. LeDouche prevents Hynynen from standing back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. LeDouche moves to take his opponent's back. Hynynen looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Hynynen looking very determined here, making life difficult for LeDouche.
Hynynen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for LeDouche on the ground. Hynynen has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Hynynen can't escape the position.
