Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keneth Bridges (ranked 24433 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Sung (ranked 4548 p4p, 0 weight class). Sung has chosen Bisdako as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keneth Bridges!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sam Sung!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sung is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bridges's half guard.
Bridges is trying to get back to full guard.

Bridges pushes Sung off and gets back to his feet.
Sam Sung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sung swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Bridges clinches up with Sung and pushes him back against the cage.
Sung goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bridges prevents it.
Bridges is trying to push Sung away but Sung has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Bridges's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sung changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bridges tries to avoid it but Sung manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bridges to the ground. Bridges escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bridges really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sung misses with a double jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sung moves into the clinch.

Bridges breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Bridges clinches with his opponent.

Sung keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Bridges's efforts to push away.
Bridges jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sung walks away with a smile on his face. Bridges gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Sung uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bridges.
Sung looks for a takedown but Bridges sprawls well.
Keneth Bridges has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Sung.
Bridges misses with a takedown attempt
and Sung counters with a one-two to the body.
Bridges tries for a takedown but Sung circles away easily
and Sung counters with a stiff right hand.
Sung's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bridges connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sung scrambles back to his feet.
Bridges tries to clinch there but Sung circles away.
Sung with the counter takedown but Bridges avoids it easily.
Bridges tries for a takedown but Sung sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sung tries to clinch up.

Bridges checks a low kick from Sung.
Bridges shoots in for a double leg but Sung sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bridges tries to clinch but Sung moves out of range.
As Bridges backs off Sung throws a huge counter combo but Bridges manages to avoid it all.
Bridges tries to clinch but Sung is having none of it.

Bridges gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Sung prevents Bridges from breaking the clinch.
Bridges gets underhooks to prevent Sung's takedown attempt.
Bridges wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Sung is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bridges gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Sung content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Sung has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bridges uses from the top position.
Sung looks winded!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sung wants to sweep here but Bridges controlling him for the moment.

Sung wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Bridges is now in half guard.
Sung taking some punishment here, with Bridges in his half guard.
Bridges blocks the strikes from Sung.
Sung keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Sung trying to control but Bridges postures up.
Bridges is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Sung desperately trying to maintain half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bridges working the head and body with strikes.
Bridges has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bridges lands a nice short elbow.
Sung is not content to let Bridges control the position.

Bridges stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Sung to get to his feet.

Bridges takes the fight into the clinch.
Bridges tries to circle away but Sung has him pinned against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Keneth Bridges will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Sung fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bridges to the ground. Sung is now in Bridges's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sung slips nicely into half guard.
Bridges is trying to stand back up but Sung is controlling him
Sung is controlling the pace.
Bridges wants to control but Sung is keeping busy.
Bridges is refusing to be controlled, as Sung sits in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sung is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Bridges gets full guard.
Bridges seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Sung won't allow Bridges to sweep him here.

Bridges has Sung pulled in close to control his posture.
Bridges looking to control.
Keneth Bridges overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Sung won't allow Bridges to get back to his feet.
Bridges wants to sweep here but Sung controlling him for the moment.
Bridges is pulling down on Sung's head. It's preventing any offense from Sung, at least for the moment.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Bridges is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bridges tries to clinch but Sung moves away
and Sung counters with a one-two to the body.
Bridges fails to land the takedown.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sung lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.


Bridges is rocked!

Sung is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Bridges is in big trouble! Sung is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Bridges. Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Sam Sung!
