Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Leonardo Atunes (ranked 1711 p4p, 229 weight class) and Jon Snow (ranked 12800 p4p, 580 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 12 - 3, fighting out of New York, Leonardo Atunes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Snow! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Atunes lands with a good body shot. Snow just misses with a punch to the body.

Atunes has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Atunes pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Atunes scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Atunes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Snow moves away. Snow misses with an uppercut
and Snow takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A kick lands to the mid section there for Atunes. A swing and a miss from Atunes. Snow throws a nice outside leg kick. Atunes misses with a body kick. Snow throws a nice inside leg kick. Snow throws a right and a left that Atunes avoids nicely. Atunes swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Atunes throws a hook but Snow avoids it easily. Snow throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. A looping hook to the body misses from Snow. Atunes does a little dance to reset his feet. Atunes was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Jon Snow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Snow buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

As Snow looks to move away, Atunes throws a big counter combo but Snow just gets out of the way. A solid leg kick lands there for Atunes.
Snow throws a jab but it's blocked by Atunes. Atunes fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Snow looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Atunes lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Atunes. Atunes misses the jab. Atunes cracks a nice hook into Snow's ribs. Snow throws a head kick that misses. Snow misses with a jab, cross combination.
Snow throws a half hearted mid kick. Snow tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Atunes was well out of range. Poor timing from Snow. It appears Atunes was looking to counter with a kick there. Snow feints and then cracks Atunes's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Atunes down. Snow throws a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action! Snow is looking to clinch. Atunes pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Snow lands a jab to Atunes's midsection. Atunes throws a wild body kick that Snow sees coming a mile off. Atunes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Snow throws out the jab. Atunes throws a leg kick that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Atunes throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Snow on the side of the head. Snow scores with a hook to the body. Atunes takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Snow will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Snow walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Atunes checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Snow is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Atunes rather than just go for the knockout. A head kick misses from Atunes. Atunes throws a leg kick but Snow sees it coming and moves out of range. Snow displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Atunes throws out the jab. Atunes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Snow moves away. Atunes fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Snow has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Snow gets cracked there but stands up to it.
An inside leg kick lands from Snow. Atunes scores with a crisp jab that stopped Snow in his tracks. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Snow gets in close and instigates a clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Snow. Snow creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Atunes's defenses. Snow misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Atunes throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Atunes lands with a left to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leonardo Atunes dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Snow takes one to the side of the head.
Snow works Atunes's body with a nice hook. The fight stays on the outside here - Snow looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A head kick misses from Snow. Jon Snow is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Snow swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Atunes. Snow avoids the body shot from Atunes.
A decent looking cross lands there for Atunes. Atunes keeps the fight on the outside. As Snow backs away, Atunes returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Atunes takes a swing at Snow's ribcage but misses. Snow on the wrong end of a nice hook. Atunes scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Atunes scores with a head kick. Snow tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Atunes looks to score with a jab to the body but Snow is just out of range. A little jabbing left from Snow on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Leonardo Atunes is winning the standup battle so far. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Snow misses with a low kick. Atunes gets tackled into the ropes by Snow. Snow maintains the clinch. Snow misses with an elbow strike.

Snow gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Atunes swats away the attempt to clinch by Snow. Atunes lands a nice shot to the body.
That kick from Snow tenderised Atunes's leg. Atunes is trying to keep his angry face on. Atunes connects with the punch. Atunes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Snow manages to avoid it. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Snow, right into the meat.
Atunes has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Atunes there as he acknowledges the shot. Snow throws an ugly left hook that misses

Snow moves out of range of the body kick. Sloppy strikes from Snow. Those never looked like landing. Snow tries to bum rush Atunes with a series of wild strikes but Atunes uses good footwork to avoid the assault. It looked like Atunes was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Atunes misses with a hook. Snow ducked under it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snow swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Snow misses with a looping left. Atunes steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Snow. Atunes wants to land a leg kick but Snow is out of range. Atunes staying out of range there. A swing and a miss from Atunes. Atunes is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Atunes throws a predictable looking body shot
and Snow cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Atunes misses with a wild body shot. A left lands for Atunes. Atunes waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Snow. Snow throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Atunes. Atunes checks a leg kick. Snow throws a looping overhand right but Atunes ducks down to avoid it. Snow fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Atunes. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Snow lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Atunes takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Atunes cracks Snow with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Atunes looks to land a left hand but Snow moved out of range nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Leonardo Atunes will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Good leg kick by Snow there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Snow fails in his attempt to clinch. Snow slips a straight right by Atunes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Atunes checks a leg kick. Atunes tries a low kick but Snow avoids it. It seemed like Snow was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Snow misses with a hook. Atunes ducked under it nicely. Snow closes the distance and clinches. Atunes is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Snow throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Atunes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Atunes loads up on a big right hand but Snow slips the punch. Atunes works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Atunes looks to score with a jab to the body but Snow is just out of range. Atunes throws out a loose jab but Snow uses good head movement to avoid it. Snow is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Snow tries to close the distance and clinch but Atunes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Snow avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Atunes swats away the attempt to clinch by Snow. Atunes blocks a head kick by Snow.
Atunes takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A bone on bone clash there as Snow blocks the leg kick.
Snow lands a head kick. Atunes smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Snow checks a leg kick. Jon Snow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Snow throws a leg kick but Atunes sees it coming and checks it nicely. Snow pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Snow misses with a body kick. Snow misses with a head kick.
A little feinted left hand from Atunes on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snow moves in looking to clinch but Atunes pushes him off. Snow takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Snow comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A shot to the liver by Atunes. Beautiful body shot. Snow misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Atunes connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Atunes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Snow was well out of range. Poor timing from Atunes. Snow moves out of range as Atunes strikes. Snow is looking for the big counter here. Atunes bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Snow's head backwards. Atunes bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Snow's head. Snow throws a leg kick that misses. Snow catches Atunes with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Snow walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Snow misses with a body shot.
Atunes thows a left - swing and a miss! Atunes lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Leonardo Atunes is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Atunes misses with a straight right.
And that's the end of the fight! Leonardo Atunes showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Atunes, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
