Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Weimin Liaw (ranked 5677 p4p, 494 weight class) and Rashid Magomedov (ranked 2161 p4p, 267 weight class). Magomedov has chosen Chris Brown - See You Again Feat. Tyga & Wiz Khalifa as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Rashid Magomedov enters the ring!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liaw wants to clinch
and Magomedov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Liaw tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Magomedov paws at him with a jab and circles away.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Liaw rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Magomedov to counter with a crisp jab.
Liaw drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Magomedov onto his butt! Magomedov pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.
Weimin Liaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Liaw is looking to clinch.

Magomedov circles away from the clinch attempt
and Magomedov counters with a straight right hand.

Magomedov clips Liaw with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Liaw a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.

Magomedov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Liaw.

and Magomedov counters with a big 3 punch combo that drops Liaw on his ass! Liaw wobbles back to his feet half way through the count and though looking a bit dazed, the referee is going to allow the fight to continue!
Oh Liaw is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Liaw moves away from the strike by Magomedov.
Liaw seems to have got his legs back now.
Liaw throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Liaw has closed the distance and engaged Magomedov in a clinch.
Liaw pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Liaw is looking to clinch but Magomedov is avoiding it.
As Liaw backs off Magomedov throws a huge counter combo but Liaw manages to avoid it all.

and Magomedov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Liaw walks into a straight right hand from Magomedov.
Liaw tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Magomedov manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A decent looking cross lands there for Liaw.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Magomedov appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

Magomedov lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rashid Magomedov will take that one after scoring more knockdowns during an exciting 3rd frame!
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Magomedov feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Liaws jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Liaw tries to clinch but Magomedov is having none of it.
Magomedov lands a jab.
Liaw stuns Magomedov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Liaw lands a right hook to the body.
Liaw tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Magomedov counters with a massive head kick! KABOOM! Liaw is out cold! A devastating KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Rashid Magomedov!
Rashid Magomedov bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
