Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Funky Colemadina (ranked 4694 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Lam Park (ranked 22069 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Funky Colemadina!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jon Lam Park!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colemadina pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Park moves in looking to clinch but Colemadina pushes him off.
A left and a right from Park both land. Nice combination.
Park tries to close the distance and clinch but Colemadina swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Colemadina is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Park is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Colemadina is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Colemadina closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Park quickly recovers to half guard.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Colemadina is trying to break the clinch but Park has him pressed against the cage.
Colemadina stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Park throws a punch but it's blocked by Colemadina.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Park looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Colemadina looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Park with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Park looks to land a combination. Colemadina sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Park tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Colemadina paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Colemadina's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Park lands a hook that snaps the head of Colemadina backwards.

Jon Lam Park has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Park has a closed guard, preventing Colemadina from standing up.
Colemadina won't allow Park to get back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Park utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Colemadina, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
