Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Danny Wood (ranked 6145 p4p, 386 weight class) and Mohammed Al Haddad (ranked 3976 p4p, 312 weight class). Wood comes to the cage accompanied by Notorious B.I.G - Hypnotyze. Mohammed Al Haddad struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Wood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mohammed Al Haddad! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wood avoids the head kick by Al Haddad.
Wood seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Al Haddad fails to land the takedown. Al Haddad moves to clinch but Wood breaks away and Wood counters with a left and a right that hurts Al Haddad! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Wood jumps into full mount!
Al Haddad is rocked! Al Haddad wants to try and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wood wants to stand but Al Haddad is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Al Haddad really wants to buck Wood off and get back to his feet. Al Haddad is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Wood wants to stand but Al Haddad is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Al Haddad wants to get back to his feet.
Wood controlling the pace for now. Al Haddad's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Wood knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Al Haddad on the ground. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Al Haddad is squirming around, avoiding Wood's attempts to control the action. Al Haddad wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Wood dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Al Haddad misses with a takedown and Wood counters with a lovely straight right hand! Wood scores with a one two! Al Haddad had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Al Haddad swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wood counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Al Haddad! Al Haddad is still in real trouble! Can Wood finish him? Al Haddad is trying to escape back to his feet but Wood uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Al Haddad bucks up and tries to throw Wood off but instead Wood has got his back! Danny Wood overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. This has been an exciting period of action! Al Haddad is trying to stand back up. Al Haddad seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Wood is looking to get the fight back to the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Al Haddad wants to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Wood dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Al Haddad changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wood tries to avoid it but Al Haddad manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wood to the ground. Wood escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Al Haddad misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Al Haddad moves in looking to clinch but Wood pushes him off. Wood seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Al Haddad throws a right hand that misses
and Wood cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Wood throws a series of punches but Al Haddad moves out of range. Wood lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Al Haddad sprawling to the canvas. Wood follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Al Haddad hang on? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Al Haddad tries to kick Wood off but Wood keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Wood tries to stand but his arm is trapped. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Al Haddad wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Danny Wood is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Al Haddad tries to clinch but fails miserably and Wood counters with a three punch combo that has Al Haddad backing up. Al Haddad nods at Wood to acknowledge the strikes. Al Haddad shoots for a double leg takedown but Wood sprawls well. He's pushed Al Haddad's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mohammed Al Haddad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Al Haddad takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Al Haddad falls off balance throwing a combination
and Wood counters with a lovely straight right hand! Al Haddad with a lazy takedown attempt and Wood connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Danny Wood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mohammed Al Haddad. A jab lands there for Wood. Wood paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Wood connects with a superb combination that knocks Al Haddad out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Wood before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Al Haddad!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Danny Wood! A less than humble Danny Wood misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
