The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Antunes feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Malevolente 's calf.
Malevolente is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Antunes.

Antunes stalks Malevolente and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Malevolente 's face. Malevolente staggers backwards, shaken.
Malevolente fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Antunes, pushing him back against the cage.
Antunes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Horrible takedown by Malevolente or perhaps it was just good defense by Antunes which made him look bad.
