Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hosea Dotson (ranked 23172 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuma San (ranked 4689 p4p, 0 weight class). San has chosen Library Silence as his entrance music. Kuma San has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hosea Dotson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kuma San!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
San dives in and grabs Dotson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dotson pushes down on San's head and hops out.
Dotson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

San closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Dotson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
San jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dotson walks away with a smile on his face. San gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
San tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dotson swivels and escapes.
Dotson tries to counter by moving into the clinch but San manages to circle out of the way.
Hosea Dotson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kuma San.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

San moves into the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
San with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.


It looks like Hosea Dotson has been cut.
Dotson is trying to push San away but San has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Dotson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

San has his foot on Dotson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dotson works his way back into a safe position though.

Dotson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down San for as long as he can get away with.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Dotson's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Dotson seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under San's chin but San turns very nicely into Dotson's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by San.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dotson looking to hit a scissor sweep but San is one step ahead there.

San is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Dotson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching San on his heels. He'll look to pass San's guard now, I'm sure.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

San escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dotson staying out of range there.
Dotson throws a big counter combination but San scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

San moves into the clinch successfully.
Dotson can't get the takedown.
Dotson jumps guard but San turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Come on San - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Dotson drops down looking for an ankle pick but San pulls his leg out and moves away.
San shoots for a takedown but Dotson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
As San looks to move away, Dotson throws a big counter combo but San just gets out of the way.

Dotson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. San is trying to defend but Dotson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

I would just about give that final round to Kuma San.
