Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sven Kristian Nielsen (ranked 2836 p4p, 0 weight class) and Torkel Bystrom (ranked 20902 p4p, 0 weight class). Nielsen comes to the cage accompanied by Wardruna - Fehu. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bystrom misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bystrom fails to land with a series of punches.
Bystrom lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Sven Kristian Nielsen has been cut.
Bystrom lands with an overhand left.
Nielsen gets a double leg takedown into Bystrom's guard.
Nielsen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Bystrom avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Nielsen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nielsen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Nielsen walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bystrom holds on and takes a little breather.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Nielsen dodges the punch combination from Bystrom.
Nielsen throws a body punch but Bystrom moves out of range.
Bystrom let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bystrom goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Bystrom cracks Nielsen with a right hand to the side of the head.
Nielsen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sven Kristian Nielsen will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bystrom throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nielsen listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Bystrom drops his hands momentarily and Nielsen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Nielsen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bystrom was well out of range. Poor timing from Nielsen.
Nielsen misses with an uppercut.
Bystrom keeps Nielsen at a distance using the push kick.
Bystrom thows a leg kick but Nielsen checks it
and Nielsen counters with a single leg into guard. Bystrom didn't expect that.
Nielsen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Nielsen postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Nielsen wants to control from the top but Bystrom keeps moving.
Nielsen looking to sit in guard and control but Bystrom gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Bystrom must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nielsen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Nielsen is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Bystrom frees his head nicely. Oh but Nielsen has switched to an armbar! Bystrom is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
