Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Hugues Dupont (ranked 514 p4p, 66 weight class) and Kamden Jackson (ranked 2024 p4p, 244 weight class). Jackson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Creed II- Eye of the Tiger. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Hugues Dupont! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 12 wins and 7 losses; Kamden Jackson! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Jackson fails with a takedown attempt. Dupont drops down looking for a counter takedown but Jackson sprawls and moves away. Jackson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dupont avoids it really well and circles away. Dupont feinted with a counter takedown. Jackson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dupont tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jackson is in Dupont's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Dupont (0) vs (2) Jackson Dupont is adopting a defensive guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Dupont is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dupont is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Dupont working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jackson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jackson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dupont throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Dupont is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jackson is aware though and is defending well. Dupont knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jackson on the ground. Jackson controls from within his opponent's guard. Jackson stopping the sweep attempt from Dupont.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dupont controlling Jackson's posture. Jackson trying to control but Dupont is working from the bottom. Dupont looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Jackson puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Jackson is looking to stall here but Dupont recovers full guard. Jackson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Dupont is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dupont keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully. Dupont looking for a sweep. Not yet Dupont, not yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson is pushing down on Dupont's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dupont is fighting to maintain full guard but Jackson has managed to sneak the leg through. Jackson wants to take a breather but Dupont is having none of it. Jackson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dupont doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jackson. Dupont wants to improve his position but Jackson is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dupont is trying to control Jackson's posture. Jackson takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Dupont! Jackson is rotating here... this could be the end... Dupont is out! Jackson has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
