Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Mccarthy (ranked 6833 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bo Llock (ranked 4655 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Roberto Mccarthy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bo Llock!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Llock.
You can see the frustration on Mccarthy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Llock stands up.
A left and a right from Llock both land. Nice combination.

Mccarthy clinches up with Llock and pushes him back against the cage.
Llock is trying to pull guard but Mccarthy has him pressed against the cage.
Mccarthy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Llock walks away with a smile on his face. Mccarthy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Llock goes for a double leg but Mccarthy avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mccarthy continues to drive forward.

Llock fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Roberto Mccarthy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bo Llock.

Mccarthy tries to keep at a distance but Llock has taken the fight into the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Llock - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Llock is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mccarthy to keep the fight standing.

Llock's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Llock closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mccarthy did well to prevent Llock getting side control.

Llock is looking to take a break and control but Mccarthy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Llock misses with a head shot. Mccarthy uses the momentum to regain guard.

Llock is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Llock stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mccarthy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mccarthy wants to sweep but no luck.
Llock throws a strike but Mccarthy rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Mccarthy slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Mccarthy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mccarthy has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Llock tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mccarthy just stands there and leans against the cage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Llock is working for takedown but Mccarthy is calmly controlling the position for now.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bo Llock dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Llock is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mccarthy to keep the fight standing.
Mccarthy keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Llock's efforts to push away.

Mccarthy lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Llock or not.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Llock breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Llock shoots in for a takedown but Mccarthy shows good takedown defense.
Mccarthy seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

and Mccarthy counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Llock is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Llock darts in looking for a takedown but Mccarthy gets double underhooks and turns Llock into the cage.

A jab from Llock finds it's way through Mccarthy's defenses.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Roberto Mccarthy.
I think Mccarthy has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
