Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Dido Vicini (ranked 1808 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cajun Puto (ranked 21818 p4p, 0 weight class). Vicini's entrance music is Mother. A fine choice. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Cajun Puto enters the cage!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 15 wins and 10 losses; Dido Vicini! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 12 wins and 6 losses; Cajun Puto! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Vicini manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Puto on his heels. He'll look to pass Puto's guard now, I'm sure. Vicini forces his way into half guard. Vicini trying to advance position but Puto counters by regaining guard. Vicini wants to pass the guard but Puto is keeping the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vicini thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Puto has control of Vicini's left arm, preventing Vicini from doing any damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. I really don't envy Puto right now.
Vicini is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Puto knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Puto for a finish. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Puto tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Puto can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Vicini is looking to escape. Puto seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Vicini's chin but Vicini turns very nicely into Puto's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Vicini.
