Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Lacerda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabricio Oliveto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Lacerda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabricio Oliveto! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oliveto tries to land a front kick but Lacerda steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Lacerda takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Oliveto swats away the attempt to clinch by Lacerda. Lacerda fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Oliveto sprawls well initially but Lacerda persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Oliveto wants to get back to full guard. Oliveto is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Oliveto tries to kick Lacerda off but Lacerda keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Oliveto trying to control here.
Lacerda seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Oliveto does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Oliveto is trying to control but can't.
Oliveto throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Oliveto pushes Lacerda off looking to stand but Lacerda dives back in and keeps control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Oliveto looks to land a combination but Lacerda avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lacerda tries for a takedown but Oliveto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Lacerda shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Oliveto as he jumps to the side. Lacerda is breathing heavily. Lacerda scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Lacerda tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Oliveto paws at him with a jab and circles away. Oliveto lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Carlos Lacerda has been cut. Oliveto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lacerda moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Oliveto throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Oliveto drops Lacerda with a left and a right! Oh, Lacerda is hurt - Oliveto dives into side control looking to finish!
Lacerda is rocked! Oliveto is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lacerda has escaped the position, nice work there. Oh Lacerda is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Lacerda wants to control but Oliveto postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lacerda pushes Oliveto away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Oliveto gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Lacerda seems to have got his legs back now. Lacerda gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Oliveto wants to stand up but Lacerda has a hold of him and won't allow it. Oliveto landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Oliveto is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Lacerda manages to get to full guard. Lacerda not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Oliveto would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Lacerda really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lacerda manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oliveto tries to hold on but Lacerda postures up. Lacerda gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Lacerda shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lacerda was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Lacerda looking to control and managing it successfully. Lacerda wants to control the pace but Oliveto is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oliveto gives up his back whilst trying to strike.

Oliveto has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Oliveto looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fabricio Oliveto dominated that round. The cut man is working on Carlos Lacerda's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lacerda slips under a jab from Oliveto. Oliveto misses with a body kick. Carlos Lacerda is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lacerda fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Left hook, right uppercut from Lacerda. Oliveto throws a combination that misses and Lacerda counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Lacerda trying to control the position from guard on top but Oliveto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Oliveto is looking to stand up but Lacerda isn't so interested in that idea. Oliveto looking to control.
Oliveto being controlled here, momentarily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lacerda works a leg free and moves into half guard. Oliveto missing with punches from the bottom.
Lacerda seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Oliveto does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lacerda is thwarting Oliveto's attempts to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lacerda prevents Oliveto from standing back up.
Lacerda passes to side control. Oliveto tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lacerda tries to control but Oliveto wriggling away. Oliveto swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Oliveto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lacerda. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Oliveto is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Oliveto really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Lacerda connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Lacerda prevents Oliveto from getting the reversal. Lacerda unloading with bombs! Lacerda wants to control the pace but Oliveto is squirming around nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lacerda is really struggling to control Oliveto but he's trying to hold on to the position. Oliveto tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lacerda wants to control the pace but Oliveto is squirming around nicely. Oliveto tries to hold on but Lacerda postures up. Lacerda dominating with strikes here. The referee warns Oliveto that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Oliveto can't escape the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Oliveto tries to lock up and control but Lacerda gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Oliveto working to try and regain half guard.
Lacerda can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Oliveto is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Lacerda dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Carlos Lacerda's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Oliveto throws the kick towards the body but Lacerda avoids it. Oliveto takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Oliveto looks to land a body kick but Lacerda moved away. Oliveto misses with a kick to the body.

Lacerda shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Oliveto but Oliveto pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lacerda digs a good hook to Oliveto's body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lacerda shoots in but no luck this time. Lacerda moves out of range as Oliveto throws a body kick.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Oliveto gets off balance looking for a body kick and Lacerda counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lacerda. Oliveto using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lacerda drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Lacerda. That's going to take a lot out of him. Oliveto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A punch combination from Lacerda misses. Oliveto throws a right hand that Lacerda ducks under and follows up with a left that Lacerda also avoids with ease. Lacerda tries a head kick but it misses.
Oliveto throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Lacerda thows a body shot but no joy. Oliveto avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lacerda crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Oliveto - the referee stops the clock and Lacerda gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Oliveto. Lacerda manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Oliveto misses with a body kick. Oliveto fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Oliveto's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Oliveto duly obliges.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Crunch! Oliveto slams his shin into Lacerda's torso. Lacerda fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Lacerda closes this distance looking for a takedown but Oliveto circles away. Oliveto misses with a double jab
and Lacerda counters by clinching up. Lacerda can't break the clinch.
Lacerda manages to break the clinch.
Oliveto throws a half hearted mid kick. Oliveto throws a wild body kick that Lacerda sees coming a mile off. Oliveto fails to land with a series of punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lacerda shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Oliveto pinned against the cage. Oliveto gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Oliveto throws a push kick but Lacerda slaps the foot to one side. Lacerda throws a right hand that Oliveto ducks under and follows up with a left that Oliveto also avoids with ease. Lacerda throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Oliveto's waist but Oliveto gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lacerda off to one side. Fabricio Oliveto seems to be getting the better of the standup. Oliveto throws a series of punches but Lacerda avoids them all with ease. Lacerda misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Oliveto.

and Lacerda counters with a body kick. Lacerda displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Oliveto throws out the jab. Lacerda swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Oliveto counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Lacerda takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Fabricio Oliveto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Oliveto's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Oliveto duly obliges.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lacerda tries for a takedown but Oliveto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Oliveto stuffs the takedown. Oliveto throws a half hearted mid kick. Lacerda shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Oliveto as he jumps to the side. Oliveto tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Oliveto pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Lacerda shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Oliveto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lacerda moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Fabricio Oliveto is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Oliveto swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Lacerda counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lacerda. Oliveto can't keep his opponent in guard - Lacerda advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
And that's the end of the fight! Carlos Lacerda showed his dominance in that final round. I think Lacerda has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
